The flow

The sign-up asks only for what the platform needs to build each person's lobby, and uses the wait that follows to say what a licensed operator has to say. Six screens, one promise.

Final design

The sign-up, coded: these are not screenshots. You can walk through it by hand (province, preferences and username respond and validate) or just watch the flow with “Watch the flow”.

The decisions

  • Three questions, not a form. Province, game preferences and username: just enough to start.
  • Province first, because the license is per province.
  • Preferences that build the lobby: slots, live tables or virtual ones, so the first game screen is already the person's own.
  • A wait that informs. While the lobby loads, the screen shows the responsible-gaming messages a licensed operator must give.
  • The welcome bonus and the payment methods come at the end, once the person is already inside.

The components

36 dp buttons, 56 dp fields, hover, focus and pressed states, elevation and the Roboto type scale, all to walk through with mouse and keyboard. It is in English.
